Witness the exquisite charm of Ooty in South India

Ooty is framed with the perfect climate round the year. It is the most famous hill station of South India. Ooty sits on the Elk Hill. It has retained its charm through a few ancient structures.

The most important travel sighting is Ooty Lake. It was created under John Sullivan, the first collector of Ooty. It is an artificial lake surrounded by parks.

Botanical Garden, inaugurated by the Madras Governor when India was not independent,
has a great floral collection.

There is a beautiful rose garden too that has around 20000 rose plants. The panoramic sights from the hill plateaus are wonderful. A sweet little racecourse sits on the hilly slope. People who go for Ooty trip like the idea.

At a slight distance from Ooty, you get Doddapetta Peak, Kalhatty waterfall and Pykara Lake. It also hosts a very prominent Mudamalai wildlife sanctuary, a place replete with deciduous forests and herds of elephants.
Ooty or Ootacamund or Udhagamandalam is a picturesque place ideally suited for holiday.
